Abstract

Intra- and intermolecular association in deuterotoluene of ionomers based on sulfopolystyrene with varied content of sulfonate groups (SO3H) was studied by cold neutron scattering. The structural features of the primary associates were revealed, and their capability for mutual penetration and binding into supramolecular formations at contacts was evaluated.
