Abstract

Using the 13.7 m telescope of Joint Radio Lab. Purple Mountain Observatory Qinghai Station, a survey and a partial mapping with CO (J=1-0) lines were made for 97 interstellar H 2O maser sources in April 1997. Resultsfor 81 sources are suitable for analyzing the activities of associated stellar objects. 33 sources have been identified to be molecular outflow candidates. Their characteristics and the relation between the CO (J=1-0) and H 2O 6 16 - 5 23 emissions are discussed briefly. A comparison of both velocity range and peak value between the CO and H 2O lines shows good agreement in most cases, which suggests that their exciting mechanisms may be correlated.
