Abstract
To diminish the effect of cloud on the disposal and application of the aerial image taken from UAV, this paper presented a new cloud detection algorithm based on the statistical analysis of dark channel. Image semantics and adaptive threshold calculation are added to optimize the detection result. Simulation results validate the validity of the algorithm on the cloud detection and show the better performance compared to the traditional method.
