Abstract

Two-hundred and eighty-nine composite resin-full labial veneers were placed after labial enamel reduction in children and adolescents and reviewed after periods of up to 3 years. The median (+/- S.E.) survival time was 35.6 +/- 0.8 months with 42 (14%) of the veneers considered to have failed. There was a small incidence of marginal staining, no deterioration in gingival health, and patient satisfaction was high.
