Abstract

Compared with conventional thrombolysis therapy, percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy is associated with rapid vascular recanalization, less infusion time and lytic agent dose, which make it a promising treatment modality for deep vein thrombosis. The aim of this paper is to review and summarize the clinical available percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy devices in the treatment of deep vein thrombosis.
