Abstract

Scutellaria orientalis is a plant species with yellow flowers. Generally, it is used by locals as an antidiarrheal, antihemorrhagic and fatigue relieving treatment in the regions where it grows endemic in eastern Turkey. In our case, a 23-year-old patient, who used this plant, with an overall clinical picture dominated by anticholinergic toxidrome is mentioned. Although anticholinergic toxidrome is a syndrome that can be diagnosed with various clinical findings, its treatment is symptomatic and physostigmine can be used for treatment in severe cases. (1)Depending on the clinical course of the patient, the possibility of follow-up and/or treatment in intensive care units may arise.
