Abstract

Twenty-seven patients with chronic anteromedial rotatory instability were treated by pes anserinus transplant with an 85% satisfactory result. Muscle rehabilitation is absolutely essential for a good result. Delay of surgery by prolonged conservative management may contribute to the development of degenerative changes in the medial compartment.
