Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese with Western medicine in the treatment of anal fissure.Methods 40 patients were divided into two groups.After surgery,the control group received warm water cleansing combined with routine dressing change; while the stduy group received fumigation-washing and hip bath with traditional Chinese medicines.The efficacy was compared between the two groups.Results The total effectiveness rate did not differ significantly between the two groups (P>0.05).However,the duration of wound healing was shorter,the incidence of incision infection was lower,and the degree of edema in the anus margin edema was slighter in the study group than in the control group.Conclusions Integrated traditional Chinese with Western medicine for anal fissure can markedly shorten duration of wound healing and reduce rate of complications.It is worth popularizing clinically.
