Abstract
Three dimensional video is drawing high attention these days and a growing number of 3D content is flowing around the mass storage devices, video displays and across various communication networks. Stereoscopic video coding and Multi view coding (MVC) are the two well-known methods for representing the 3D video between which MVC scores comparatively better in terms of quality. Though there is increasing popularity in 3D viewing, for various reasons, one could see very few pockets where 3D capturing is being exercised. In this paper, we propose a client-server modeled Multiview video system which is relatively simple to be realized and is designed to connect the multiple 2D sensor devices nearby, garner the intent, exchange the common content being captured and multiplex them to form a 3D multi view video. The proposed architecture enables the users to walk in with their 2D devices and walk out with a high quality 3D experience.
