Abstract
We propose that a search for spcific exclusive channels will test the idea that W boson exchange dominates the decays of charm and bottom mesons. The decay modes we suggests are: D 0→φ K ̄ 0, D 0 → η K ̄ 0 versus D→π 0 K ̄ 0, B 0 → F + K −, B −→ K ̄ 0 D −, B − →φ F − and B − → η F − .
