Abstract
The role of cloud-based services in healthcare settings is crucial in the 21st century. This paper discusses their advantages and tools in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers, categorizing existing applications and services into data storage, computing power, networking, PaaS, SaaS, data analytics, business intelligence, and project management. It also provides an in-depth analysis of security and risk assessment issues in cloud-based services, supported by case studies. Additionally, it includes a comparative risk analysis diagram of secured versus non-secured cloud systems in healthcare. Finally, the paper concludes with recommendations for future work.
