A Classification Management Method for the Traffic Congestion Based on RFID Application

Abstract

At the present stage, the problem of cities traffic congestion has been attracted a lot of scholars’ attention. In order to enhance the traffic congestion management efficiency, in this paper, a new traffic congestion management method is proposed. This method contain two parts: firstly, based on the foundational traffic parameters, combined with the RFID technology, the proposed method considers the recognition and the classification of congestion strategies; secondly, this paper present improvement strategies and a framework of traffic congestion management system based on RFID.
