Abstract

A class of graphs, arising in connection with a covering problem for rectilinear regions, is shown to be perfect. This affirms a conjecture of Chaiken, Kleitman, Saks and Shearer [SIAM J. Alg. Disc. Meth., 2 (1981), pp 394–410].
