Abstract

In this paper, many features of lump solutions are scrutinized using an extended Jimbo–Miwa model in (3+1) dimensions. A bilinear representation of the model is discovered and used to observe collisions aspects between lumps and other solutions. The functions patterns of the model are examined using various ansatzes to discover lump, lump-kink, breather, three wave, and two wave solutions. To observe the novel physical attributes of the interaction solutions, numerical simulations are carried out, and a variety of phase portraits are graphed. The circumstances of the existence of these solutions are described in detail.
