Abstract

A chiral quark soliton model with quark-quark self-consistent interaction through iterative one-gluon exchange (OGE) for nucleon and delta is proposed. This model is solved for the hedgehog baryon state in the mean field approximation and with the self-consistent method. The static properties of nucleon are calculated and the results are reasonably agreement with experiments. The model is then applied to a study of the NN interactions and scattering phase shifts within the framework of the quark cluster theory. It is shown to reproduce the empirical NN interactions and phase shifts fairly well.
