Abstract

AbstractA Highly Interesting Bronte Relic has been brought to the notice of the Bronte Society this year, in the shape of a sketch-book in the possession of Miss Dora Farrar, of Halifax, whose father, the late Joseph Farrar, bought it at the sale of Ellen Nussey's effects. Family tradition has always attributed the drawings in the sketch-book to Charlotte Bronte. The book is nine inches by seven and three-quarter inches in size; backed in mottled cardboard, with leather corners.
