Abstract

This paper deals with the manipulability of the social choice functions when individuals have fuzzy pq-transitive preference relations on the set of alternatives. The pq-transitivity of a fuzzy relation corresponds to a fuzzy transitivity of its strict component. The paper shows that all strategy-proof fuzzy social choice functions which are monotonic, unanimous, and decisive, are necessarily dictatorial.
