Abstract

This paper studies the problem of resource location and retrieval of ceramic artworks in the ceramic VR applications, which solves the key technologies such as the retrieval system architecture, feature library design, the 3 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">rd</sup> party Resource Retrieval Service Interface, and the UI generator in the ceramic artwork retrieval systems. Achievements described have been applied to the image retrieval system of ceramic artworks in this research successfully, and the retrieval system was applied in the ceramic artwork VR system "CArtSo".
