Abstract

A major concern for applied statisticians is the analysis of survival experiments under censoring. Here we study the aging intensity function and the hazard rate function on a case study of bone marrow transplant in acute leukemia patients, based on right-censored data. We focus on disease-free survival probabilities of patients grouped into risk categories namely, ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia), AML (acute myeloctic leukemia) low risk, AML high risk patients.
