Abstract

Case presentation of a 21-year-old guy with a likely diagnosis of Chronic Inammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy is provided in this article. (CIDP).CIDP usually presents with lower limb weakness (difculty in walking, foot drop), numbness, abnormal sensation (tingling, pain), and even loss of reexes. CIDP does not have a denitive diagnosis, and it requires a combination of thorough history taking, clinical examination and a series of investigations (both invasive and non-invasive). The pathophysiological mechanisms of CIDP are not fully yet understood. Currently, 1st line treatment for CIDP includes- IVIG therapy and IV Steroid therapy.
