Abstract

Objective: This study presents the case of a 74-year-old male patient with basal ganglia calcification suggestive of Fahr’s disease and the effectiveness of Korean medicinal treatment. Methods: We treated this patient with traditional Korean medicine and measured symptom severity using the Numeral Rating Scale (NRS). Results: After treatment, most pathological symptoms had decreased, and there was a gradual decline in the NRS of patient’s symptoms.
