Abstract
深頸部膿瘍は，急性期治療後に約20％の症例で嚥下障害をきたすとの報告がある。今回，頸部から縦隔にかけての広範囲な膿瘍の治療後の嚥下障害に対して，嚥下改善手術が奏功した1例を経験したため報告する。症例は64歳女性。頸部膿瘍，コントロール不良の糖尿病を認め，抗菌薬投与および血糖コントロールを行ったが，膿瘍の増大を認めドレナージ術を行った。炎症所見の改善後，ADLの低下や高度の嚥下障害が出現した。リハビリテーションは著効せず，経口摂取困難となり，喉頭挙上術を行ったところ嚥下機能が改善した。深頸部膿瘍後の嚥下障害および嚥下機能改善手術の有効性について考察を行い報告する。
