Abstract

Spindle cell carcinoma is characterized by the proliferation of polygonal cells, comprising mainly tumor cells, and is classified as a type of squamous cell carcinoma. The frequency of spindle cell carcinoma in the oral cavity is low, particularly on the floor of the mouth. We report a patient presenting with a spindle cell carcinoma on the floor of the mouth.
