Abstract

A case of pulmonary histoplasmosis is presented, the diagnostic features being (1) the characteristic radiographic appearance of pulmonary calcification, (2) the positive histoplasmin test, and (3) the history of having lived in an endemic area. The histoplasmin and coccidiodin were obtained from the U.S.A. and kindly provided by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The pathological investigations were carried out at the Kingston Hospital Laboratory.
