Abstract

A 11-year-old male patient came to ophthalmology OPD with complaints of loss of vision in left eye since 5 days. Patient gave history of trauma to the left eye by a chemical explosive from a carbide gun, following which patient developed diminution of vision in the left eye since 5 days. Patient was diagnosed with chemical injury. Patient had undergone amniotic membrane transplantation, along with simple limbal epithelial transplantation. After the surgery patient showed drastic improvement.
