Abstract

Intraepidermal blisters caused by slight abrasion appeared on the fingertips, toes and insteps of the feet of a 73-year-old Japanese female suffering from primary hypothyroidism. The tendency to form bullae decreased markedly with the administration of thyroid hormone. The discussion concerns the relation between bullae and thyroid hormone level.
