Abstract
45歳，男性．3年前よりエソメプラゾール20 mgを内服中であった．後頸部痛と両手の攣り（つり）を主訴に救急搬送され，著明な電解質異常（K 1.7 mEq/l，Ca 9.1 mg/dl，Mg 1.0 mg/dl）を認めた．各電解質の補正と共に低Mg血症の原因をプロトンポンプ阻害薬（proton pump inhibitor：PPI）と疑い，中止した．長期PPI内服で低Mg血症を，二次的に低K血症，低Ca血症も来たし得る．
