Abstract

Thyroid hemiagenesis is a rare congenital anomaly, in which one thyroid lobe fails to develop. Thyroid hemiagenesis is associated with thyroid diseases such as Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, colloidal goiter and thyroid follicular and papillary cancer.
