Abstract
A case of focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) of the liver is reported. A 30-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of an epigastric tumor. Palpation revealed a 9×9cm tumor. Abdominal CT and echography demonstrated a tumor in the left lobe of the liver. Hepatic angiography revealed a hypervascular tumor. Left hepatic lobectomy was performed. The resected mass measured 9×9×7cm and weighed 310g. FNH was confirmed histologically. The postoperative course was uneventfully and the patient is well six months after surgery.
