Abstract

A 69-year-old Japanese woman with untreated rheumatoid arthritis was hit on her left cheek by a tennis ball in November 20XX. Later, an ulcer gradually appeared on her left cheek. She presented to Komaki Municipal Hospital on September, 20(XX+1). Dermatological and histopathological findings are shown in Figures 1 and 2, respectively. The patient was administered topical and oral antifungal medications, however the ulcer region did not improve.
