Arterial pulsatile tinnitus can be the result of carotid stenosis, glomus tumor, or vascular lesions of the petrous bone or skull base. Dural arteriovenous fistula is the most common cause of objective tinnitus. However, there have not be any reports of dural arteriovenous fistula involving the deep vein to brain stem treated by transarterial embolization.
