Abstract

A young patient, he went to Check-ups department for routine check up. Ultrasound exam showed two tumors inside his abdomen. He had felt tired and uncomfortable in his stomach. The first ultrasound diagnosis was lymphoma and differential diagnosis was GIST (a gastrointestinal stromal tumor). Then Ct scan‘s diagnosis was lymphoma and differential diagnosis was metastasis. The patient undertook colonoscopies and gastroscopy because some clinical doctors thought he could have gastrointestinal tract abnormalities. The result of these tests were normal. The patient was cut epigastric mass for biopsy (open surgery). The pathology report was T-cell-rich B-cell lymphoma, large cell type, high malignancy level. In conclusion, Before his surgery, if we thought these tumors were likelihood lymphoma, we could use a laparoscopy to obtain a biopsy, we did not have to do a open surgery. However, it is not easy to distinguish between Lymphoma of abdomen with other tumors such as GIST and neuroma. We will show two other cases which show imagings of other tumors of abdomen in this presentation.
