Abstract

Visualization of spatial data quality is fundamentally like the display of any other cartographic information. However, the demands of simultaneously symbolizing geographic entities and multiple measures of data quality have considerable potential of overwhelming the map graphic. Uses of conventional cartographic symbology for data quality displays are examined.
