Abstract
A cartobibliography of early maps of Australia in the United States' Library of Congress is introduced. For materials within its scope, Maps of Australia 1770–1850 provides a comprehensive survey of the collections of the Geography and Map Division. Although as yet unpublished, it is available to those with a specific interest by application to the author.
