Abstract

ABSTRACT This conceptual paper discusses how the interaction between risk and protective processes yields the outcome of resilience among Hispanic K-12 students. It applies a cultural-ecological-transactional model to support the use of strengths-based school counseling interventions that can authentically build upon the resilience of Hispanic students.
