Abstract
An inexpensive data acquisition system for multi-bed intensive care units is described. The low cost is achieved by the use of a Wang Calculator for system control. The system permits recording of the values of as many as 12 variables from 12 beds every hour and from a selected bed every minute. Essential features of the equipment and programming are presented.
