Abstract

We calculate direct radiative recombination cross sections and ratecoefficients for Be-like O4+, Si10+ and Na-likeFe15+ using nonrelativistic dipole approximation. In order toincorporate the screening effect due to the inner-shell electrons inthe calculation, we use the distorted wave method instead of pureCoulomb approximation with effective charge. The calculated crosssections and rate coefficients are in agreement with other theoreticalcalculations and the experimental data.
