Abstract
A 24-GHz flat lens antenna based on four-pole pass band aperture-coupled-patch frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) is designed in this paper. Features of design are discussed, and results for frequency response of FSSs and radiation patterns of the antenna are calculated and measured to certify the theory. The results show that the gain is enhanced after equipping the lens and the antenna can operate in a wide band.
