Abstract

This paper presents a compilation of the goals of teaching strategies through technology in the microbiology education field. This brief review moves through multimedia technologies to virtual reality simulations. Thus, this reports that visualization artifacts in three dimensions aid learning and animations denote visualization tools for beginners and aid in long-term memory retention. At last, high-fidelity graphics allows for the greater appropriation of the characteristics of the microbiological elements studied.
