Abstract

The Enlightenment was a far-reaching anti-feudal and anti-church ideological liberation movement in modern Europe, and its ideological innovations had a great impact on institutional change, economic development and technological progress. In this paper, we will take the Enlightenment as an example, analyses the reasons for the rapid rise of modern Europe from the perspective of intellectual innovation, and consider its significance for the present development.
