Abstract

Even though this article (Chainey et al., 2008) is extremely interesting and thought provoking, I have to admit that it includes a couple of mistakes that may potentially mislead uninformed readers. When it tackles the hotspot mapping techniques the authors confuse the "spatial ellipses" with some sort of spatial clustering technique.
