Abstract
At present, there are few researches on the exploration of Chinese classical private gardens from the perspective of spatial narration. This paper discusses the spatial narration of the classical private gardens in The Humble Administrator’s Garden of Suzhou. From the perspective of artistic conception creation, node setting, path arrangement, space combination and gardening techniques, the narrative scene in the garden is analyzed in all aspects. Thus it helps us to have a deeper understanding of Chinese classical gardens.
