Abstract

A healthy 13-year-old boy presented to the emergency department with 2 days of constant headache and left eye swelling. He denied blurred vision, diplopia, loss of consciousness, neck stiffness, focal weakness, numbness, or other neurologic symptoms. Ophthalmologic examinations revealed a visual acuity of 20/20 and left intraocular pressure of 21 mm Hg.
