Abstract

This article relates to a Boolean complementary fuzzy logic system which is a multivalued (continuous valued) logic system. This system differs from conventional fuzzy logic systems in that it satisfies complementary laws on a Boolean lattice. In this article, after defining a Boolean complementary fuzzy system, tautologies are introduced and differences between the Boolean complementary fuzzy logic system and conventional fuzzy logic systems in inference computation are illustrated. © 1997 Scripta Technica, Inc.
