Abstract
A watermarking technique is referred to as blind if the original image is not needed for extraction. In this paper, a blind watermarking method based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT) using maximum wavelet coefficient quantization is proposed. The wavelet coefficients are grouped into different block size with each block being randomly selected from different subbands. The watermark is embedded in the local maximum coefficient which can effectively resist attacks. Experimental results show that the proposed method is quite robust under either non-geometry or geometry attacks.KeywordsWatermarkingwavelet treecopyright protectionblindblock-based
