Abstract
A 12-year-old girl presented with no light perception in the right eye. Ultrawide-field retinal imaging (Fig A) revealed a grayish papillary mass expanding into the vitreous cavity, ghost retinal vessels, and deep retinal hemorrhages. Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed a left-sided parieto-occipital tumor crossing the midline (Fig B, arrows) with an enlarged right optic nerve (arrowhead). Pathologic examination found highly cellular glial and microvascular proliferation, palisading necrosis, numerous mitoses (Fig C, arrow) (Hemalun Phloxin Saffron staining, left), and diffuse expression of the mutation H3F3A G34R (right).
