Abstract

This paper aims to present a blind lifting wavelet transform (LWT) based watermarking scheme using fast Walsh Hadamard transform (FWHT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) for audio copyright protection. In our proposed scheme, initially the original audio is segmented into non-overlapping frames. Watermark data is embedded into the largest singular value of the FWHT coefficients obtained from the low frequency LWT coefficients of each frame. A blind watermark detection technique is developed to identify the embedded watermark under various attacks. Simulation results confirm that the embedded data is robust against various attacks. Moreover, the watermarked audio has very high perceptual quality. The comparison analysis indicates that the proposed scheme outperforms state-of-the-art watermarking methods reported recently.
