Abstract
In this paper, the two-dimensional, incompressible non-Newtonian Blasius boundary-layer flow over a heated flat plate is considered. The variational viscosity which impact that model is considered. The thermo-physical properties and solar radiation effect are also discussed. Solutions are analyzed for the shear-thinning and thickening flows. The boundary layer governing equations are firstly non-dimensionalzed and then solved with aid of RK-fifth order method along with Newton Raphson method. The physical characteristics of the appearing parameters on the base-flow, temperature and concentration are presented in the form of figures and tables. Comparison has been made with previous literature and found to be in good agreement.
