Abstract
This paper proposes large space buildings which applied a eco-friendly biophilic design. The biophilic architecture is to consider the building design for nature-friendly environment, nature-inspired concepts, healing facilities, the coexistence, inter-relationship and balance of human and nature. The consideration of architecture and urban design is to create an eco-friendly environment that has good feelings through the interaction of nature and human being. The biophilic design is try to create a healing environment for the harmony and balance of mental health which is the coexistence of nature. The biophilia is the attempt to translate an understanding of a human affinity to affiliate with healing environment into the design of architecture, and is based on the assertion that humans have inter-connections with nature. Nature-inspired design in the space is to introduce the incorporation of plants, flowers, trees, daylight and water into buildings. Natural analogues are to apply a biomorphic forms and patterns, natural materials, and natural systems. Nature-inspired space is to introduce different spatial configurations for view prospect, protected spaces, wind path, and obscured features. This paper will be proposed large spatial domes applying biophilic architectural design for the harmony of between nature and human life. The proposed large space dome is a structure that can protect human beings and provide a more pleasant environment due to extreme environment and air pollution.
