Abstract

This paper provides a bibliographic guide to official publications from Latin America and the Caribbean dealing with foreign investments between 1965 and 1981. A general discussion of the role of governments and intergovernmental organizations in the economic sector is followed by a description of the various categories of official publications that relate to the foreign investment process. The bibliography's first section lists current serial titles that are information sources for the latest investment laws and regulations. A second section provides access to publications of relevant international and intergovernmental organizations. Finally, the bibliography lists by country the publications of various regulatory agencies, central banks, planning departments, and statistical services.
